In this back-to-bricks transformation of a grand four-storey London home, we worked closely with the client’s architect and interior designer to deliver an elegant and fully integrated technology system. The homeowner, a frequent traveler, needed a sophisticated yet intuitive environment—one where lighting, climate, security, and entertainment all worked in harmony without disrupting the carefully curated interiors.
Precision-Controlled Ambience
Lighting is a defining element of any space, and here, it was designed to complement the architectural and interior vision. A Lutron Homeworks QSX system was selected for its seamless integration, with Alisse keypads providing both tactile elegance and intuitive control. Bespoke lighting scenes enhance every moment, from soft morning transitions to dramatic evening moods, all with the ease of a single touch. Lutron shading solutions were subtly incorporated, ensuring uninterrupted design lines while maintaining perfect light control.
A Cinematic Escape
Entertainment was just as important as aesthetics. In collaboration with the interior designer, we designed a high-performance private cinema, featuring a 163” screen, Sony laser projection, and a Wisdom Audio Dolby Atmos sound system. This immersive space balances technical perfection with a design-led approach, ensuring the cinema complements, rather than competes with, the home’s overall aesthetic.
Invisible Audio, Uncompromised Design
In the home’s reception rooms and Master Suite, high-quality sound is felt rather than seen. Sonance invisible speakers blend seamlessly into the architecture, delivering exceptional audio without impacting the interior vision. A centralised AV system discreetly houses sources like Sky and Apple TV, allowing for clutter-free installations and ensuring the Samsung Frame TVs remain the only visible technology.
Always Connected, Inside and Out
Luxury is seamless connectivity. With no off-the-shelf ultrafast broadband available, we secured a dedicated 1Gbps leased line, ensuring uninterrupted performance. A Ruckus Wi-Fi 6 network provides flawless coverage across the entire property—including the garden and summer house—so that streaming, work, and automation remain effortless, no matter where you are.
Security with Style
Discretion and security go hand in hand. A sophisticated access control system allows the homeowner to manage entry via smartphone or unique codes, while a bespoke CCTV network ensures privacy without being intrusive. The system is designed to react intelligently, adjusting lighting and notifications based on who is at the gate.
